Sports Development Athletics Club for children in Years 1 to 6!
Our program is designed to introduce Athletics in an exciting and enjoyable way, ensuring that every child develops fundamental skills across a range of track and field events. From running and jumping to throwing and agility, we provide a comprehensive experience that caters to all interests.
Throughout the program, we focus on individual skill development, helping each child improve their technique in various athletic disciplines. Our experienced coaches guide them through engaging drills and exercises that progressively build their abilities. As the sessions unfold, we incorporate group activities that encourage teamwork, cooperation, and friendly competition.
To wrap up each session, we organise fun-filled, age-appropriate games that put their newly acquired skills into action. These games provide a dynamic and energetic environment where every child can participate and shine.
*No clubs on final Friday’s off Term 2, 4 & 6.

- Week 2: Jumping Skills (Long Jump, High Jump Basics)
- Week 3: Throwing Techniques (Javelin, Shot Put Basics)
- Week 4: Relay Races (Teamwork & Baton Handling)
- Week 5: Hurdles Basics (Jumping & Running Technique)
- Week 6: Multi-Event Day (Rotating Track & Field Activities)
- Week 7: Personal Best Challenges (Timed Runs, Measured Jumps & Throws)
- Week 8: Athletics Meet (Competition Day)
