What is NOVUS Academy?
NOVUS Academy is the premium tier of our holiday provision, built for the kind of week a child actually remembers. Ask a child what they want from the holidays and it is rarely to be kept busy. They want to be good at something, to be trusted with something real, and to come home with a story. Most holiday weeks fill the time. Fewer make a child light up.
Academy children spend their days on site within specific subjects and activities they love, performing, creating or competing, with specialists who do it for a living and take them seriously. They get better day by day. They make friends who are into the same thing. And on the last day they have something to show for it, on a stage, on a pitch, or in their hands.
For parents/carers, it is the relief of knowing exactly where your child is and who they are with, in exceptional surroundings, with the safeguarding and high ratios that let you switch off. The holidays stop being a gap to cover. They become the part of the year your child grows the most.

EVERY NOVUS ACADEMY FOLLOWS A SIMPLE THREE-STAGE JOURNEY
1. DISCOVER
- Introduced to the academy theme by specialist instructors

- Take part in a performance, tournament, showcase, exhibition or presentation

Each academy runs as a two day workshop. Take one within the week, or join across the weeks and combine them however suits your child, two of the same to go deeper, or a mix such as one Sports and one Musical Theatre.

MUSICAL THEATRE ACADEMY
Example workshop · Wicked: Behind the Curtain
Discover the world of Wicked through singing, acting, choreography and stagecraft.
Develop characters, scenes and performances alongside theatre professionals.
Perform in a final live showcase for family and friends, bringing the production to life.
SPORTS ACADEMY
Example workshop · Gymnastics
Discover the foundations of movement, balance and technique through fun challenges and specialist coaching.
Develop routines, confidence and new skills through individual coaching and team activities.
Perform a celebratory gymnastics showcase, demonstrating everything learnt across the academy.

THE LAUNCH VENUE
Launching at Badminton School
NOVUS Academy launches in October half term 2026 at Badminton School, one of Bristol's most respected independent schools. Its facilities, its creativity and its focus on building confident young people make it the right first home for Academy.
Badminton families have priority access, and families from across Bristol are warmly welcome. NOVUS is based five minutes away in Westbury-on-Trym, so this is a genuinely local partnership.
